Bernie will be headlining the Local & Legend Benefit Festival on July 13th in Califon, NJ. Proceeds from this event will go to providing music scholarships for three local graduating seniors, the Lebanon Township Fire Department, and many non-profit organizations through Music for Charities. January/February finds Bernie back in the studio with Bill Laswell. Bernie, Bill and Leo Nocentelli (of The Meters) are co-producing a joint "Bernie/Leo" project to be released in the Spring ..hopefully before or with their gigs at JazzFest.

Bernie recently collaborated with Jason Miles' "Global Noize". We'll let you know when that CD drops and where you can catch the group. At the moment, BB Kings in NYC and the 920 Club in DC are being mentioned as well as BerkFest in Philadelphia (April).
